When someone gives me valuable feedback, I acknowledge it.  If I decide to do something with that info, I do it fast.

Today I had a quick coffee (they’re important, remember this post?) with someone I trust.  We talked about lots of different stuff and she gave me some excellent advice about a situation at work.  I respect her opinion and valued what she’d just told me.

Within the next half hour, I was back at my desk and starting to use the info I’d just picked up.  I was acting fast & she could tell that I valued her opinion. We both felt good.

One of the best ways to show you respect someone’s opinion is to act quickly on their advice.
